العلاج التنفسي:- هو أحد أهم فروع المهن الطبية المساندة وقد تطور تطوراً كبيراً وكان المستشفى التخصصي الأسبق في رفد المهن الطبية بهذا العلم منذ البدء

 حيث يقوم قسم المعالجة التنفسية بتقديم الخدمات التالية

العناية بمرضى أجهزة التنفس الصناعي

 العلاج الفيزيائي للصدر بكافة أنواعها

 العلاج بأجهزة الرذاذ

 العلاج بالأوكسجين

 فحص وظائف الرئة

 فحص غازات الدم

 المشاركة مع فريق انعاش القلب والتنفس

 تقديم الاستشارات والإرشادات العلمية

 اعطاء المحاضرات والدوارت في علم المعالجة التنفسية

وقد تم تزويد القسم بأحدث الأجهزة العالمية منها

 أجهزة تنفس اصطناعي مزود بكل الاضافات العلمية وهي من نوعPuritan Bennett840  وهي الوحيدة في العالم تحتوي ما يسمى نظام الـ PAV حيث يساعد على فطم المريض عن الجهاز بأسرع وقت ممكن

أجهزة غازات الدم حيث أصبح هناك جهاز خاص بالعناية المركزه وجهاز خاص بالخداج وجهاز في القسم

أجهزة تنفس اصطناعي  متنقله حيث أن كل سيارة اسعاف مزوده بجهاز تنفسي وأجهزة تنفس متنقله عدد 2 في قسم العناية المركزه

ويسعى المستشفى لتأسيس وحدة علاج تنفسي تتمتع بأحدث المواصفات العالمية، ويقوم القسم بتقديم الخدمة العلاجية لأكثر من 1000 مريض شهرياً داخل وخارج المستشفى

Respiratory Therapy: is considered as one of the most important allied health sciences that the need for is rising. The Specialty Hospital has been adapting the development of this field by providing the RT department with the latest technology and machinery in addition to the qualified staff. RT department implements the best policies and procedure to reduce pain and guarantee the patient satisfaction.

RT development offers these services for nearly 1000inpatient and outpatient.

Fully automated ventilator puritan Bennett 840 which well known of the PAV mode that helps the patient in weaning.

ABG s machine specified for the NICU and ICCU development with a total number of 3 machines in the hospital.

Portable ventilator for each ambulance and two machines for ICCU.

In addition to 16 ventilator with different models to serve to patients.

RT development is looking to establish respiratory therapy unit with high specification and latest technology.
