The medical laboratory was established in 1993 it was the first hospital lab.accredited the ISO 15189 (JAS)  In Jordan.
The lab. Work around the clock performing a wide variety of diagnostic tests. The lab. Is equipped with state –of –the art automated instruments in the various departments. These departments are:-  

 1. Biochemistry.
Equipped with  two chemistry autoanalysers (Abbott & Roche)

2. Endocrinology (performing hormones,drugs levels & tumer markers).
Equipped with  two immunoassay analysers (Abbott & Roche)

3. Hematology & coagulation.
Equipped with  two blood cell counters one of them Sapphire utilizes  flowcytometry technique  (Abbott) & two coagulation systems from Stago

4. Immunology  & Serology
Equipped with  two Elisa systems & two electrophoresis systems (Beckman,Bio-Rad,& Biokit)

5. Microbiology &  Parasitology
Equipped with Vitek &  two Bactec systems (BD,Biomurex)

6. Molecular Biology
Equipped with Real time PCR & Thermalcycler (Corbet & MJ  Research)

7-. Histopathology & cytology
Equipped with cryostat ,microtome ,tissue processor & immunohistochemistry  stainer . (Leika,Shandon ,Biogenex )

Our reagent are purchased from reputable International institutions such as Abbott,Roche,Bio-rad,Stago ,One-lambda,BD…..
Once received the reagents undergo evaluation before they are put in use.
Our reagents are FDA or CE approved
