The Specialty Hospital Sends a Medical Team to Support Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh

The Specialty Hospital supported Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh by sending a medical team fulfilling Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah appeal after her visit to the Rohingya refugees camps in Bangladesh were the number of refugees reached one million and children represent 60% of the total number of refugees.  

The Specialty Hospital medical team went in cooperation with Physicians Across Continents (PAC), they diagnosed 160 patients in the camp’s clinic and operated on 30 patients as well as treating 10 patients who had neglected fractures, cancer cases and some psychiatric cases. 

Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh are in need for medical support, it is important to make a small operating theater in the camp’s clinic.
This mission came in collaboration with Physicians Across Continents (PAC) and as a part of the social responsibility activities carried out by the Specialty Hospital to serve the local and the international community.
