Her Highness Princess Dina Mired visited the Specialty Hospital as part of her follow-up on the health conditions of a number of pediatric patients arriving from the Gaza Strip, who are receiving treatment in Jordan under the Initiative of his Majesty to evacuate and treat (2,000) sick and injured children from Gaza Strip. Her Highness was welcomed by Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri, General Manager of the Specialty Hospital, in the presence of Dr. Mohammad Tahir, Chief of Surgeons at Fajr Global, along with representatives from Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) and Children Not Numbers organizations.
During the visit, Her Highness was briefed on the medical conditions of the patients and reviewed the details of the treatment plans for each case. She also presented gifts to the patients in a humanitarian gesture that contributed to raising their morale and alleviating their suffering during the course of treatment.
Princess Dina Mired expressed her appreciation to the management of the Specialty Hospital and its medical, nursing, and administrative staff, commending the advanced level of healthcare services provided and the hospital’s role in mobilizing its medical and technical capabilities to address the humanitarian cases arriving from the Gaza Strip.
For his part, Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri affirmed that the Specialty Hospital will continue to fulfill its humanitarian and medical role by receiving patients from the Gaza Strip and providing them with the necessary healthcare, ensuring quality treatment and continuity of medical follow-up in accordance with the highest standards.
At the conclusion of the visit, patients’ companions expressed their profound thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein for launching the Jordanian Medical Corridor Initiative, valuing the humanitarian efforts dedicated to caring for patients. They also expressed their happiness with the visit of Her Highness Princess Dina Mired and extended their gratitude to the management of the Specialty Hospital and to the supporting health and humanitarian organizations for the care and attention provided to the patients and their families.
