The Specialty Training Center

The Specialty Training Center (STC) is a professional, community spirited and progressive training center, offering flexible, tailored training and education solutions to our participants.

STC is designed to educate, inspire and motivate our trainees, helping them to reach and achieve their goals and aspirations. STC has a state-of-the-art Simulation Center with high fidelity life-like manikins. The Simulation Center will help support the training needs for some of these sessions and will help augment your skills.

All Life Support programs are accredited by The American Heart Association (AHA) and have varying CME credit hours, based on program content.

 


Our services include but are not limited to:

  1. Identifying educational and training needs for all categories of physicians, nurses and other health care providers, providing various programs accordingly.
  2. Providing a conducive learning environment which will help to enhance their professional growth and thus improve the quality of patient care.
  3. Revising the programs on the basis of pre-identified learning needs, patient outcomes and the introduction of new skills or procedures.
  4. Developing a training manual, educational activities and testing methods for educational and training programs.
  5. Ensuring that all medical staff are provided with adequate orientation that validates qualifications and assures the employee’s ability to perform job responsibilities.
  6. Assuring the effective collection and aggregation of data necessary for improvement of the educational processes.
  7. Demonstrating expertise and providing clinical leadership with evidence-based practice by collaborating with staff and/or patients/clients.
  8. Fostering environments that facilitate the exchange of information and ideas on the practice of different training programs.

Clinical Training
The STC organizes clinical courses for medical staff, nurses and paramedics, in order to develop their professional needs. Programs include:

  1. Coordination of the participants in national & international conferences.
  2. Planning and organizing medical conferences and symposiums.
  3. Planning & organizing clinical training course and workshops.
  4. Planning & organizing basic and advanced surgical skills.
  5. raining of trainers (ToT).
  6. Cardiac and Trauma Life Support Courses (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, ATLS).
