The Specialty Hospital has been approved to receive Arab patients, who wish to get treatment in Jordan during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is ranked by the MTQUA as the third best hospital in Medical Tourism in the world, and one of the most attractive hospitals in the Arab world for medical travelers, due to its distinguished services in various medical specialties, the thing that made it eligible to become the first destination for patients who seek treatment in Jordan.
The Specialty Hospital has prepared all preventive preparations, to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus, in order to maintain the safety of patients, visitors and hospital workers.
In the meantime, patients’ inquiries are received at the Specialty Hospital, through direct communication, with the public relations department, or through the electronic platform “Salamtak”, from all Arab Gulf countries, Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Algeria, Sudan and Yemen. The coming patients and their companions are required to send a negative COVID-19 test result, within 72 hours prior to arrival.
The hospital transports the patient and the companions from the borders, or from the airport, by dedicated cars, which suit the patient’s health condition directly to the hospital. The patient and his companions will be quarantined inside the hospital in an isolated section away from the rest of the hospital’s departments. The PCR test is done upon admission, after one and after two weeks. The patient and his companions must adhere to quarantine for a period of 14 days in the hospital or one of the hotels designated to complete the necessary quarantine period.
The patient’s medical trip to the Specialty Hospital is organized through the public relations department. As the department helps you fill in the data on “Salamtak” platform, which is the link between the National Center for Crisis Management and the patient to set the arrival date.
