The Specialty Hospital Commitment for continuous development led to renewing the Healthcare Accreditation Council Certificate (HCAC) for the sixth time in a row, with distinguished auditing results in medical, technical and administrative levels. In addition, providing a safe working environment allowed the hospital to renew the certificate for a period of three years instead of two years.
The HCAC surveyors were impressed with the high level of professionalism and the distinctive response implementing the required standards that cover several domains; including, governance and leadership, ethics and patient rights, access & continuity of care, diagnostic services, medications management, infection control & prevention, in addition to quality improvement and patient safety.
Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri, the General Manager of the Specialty Hospital, thanked the surveyors and congratulated the hospital staff for this achievement.
It is worth mentioning that the Specialty Hospital is the first private hospital in Jordan accredited by the Healthcare Accreditation Council (HCAC) since 2008.
