Kidney transplant:
One of the achievements that we are proud of is the improvement of the quality of kidney transplant service by administration of the laparoscopic donor nephrectomies that resulted in better post operative course in aspects of pain, cosmetic, recovery and early discharge from hospital.
Pediatric Urology services:
Pediatric urology consultants in our department are highly trained to perform the most delicate and sophisticated surgeries for repair and reconstruction of urinary and genital systems; hypospadius repair, urethroplasty, pyeloplasty, anti-reflux surgeries like Vantris injection and ureters reimplantation, laparoscopic and surgical orchidopexy, reconstruction of ambiguous genitalia.
The units of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) and urodynamic study are one of the most highly qualified, referral and equipped units for treatment of urinary stones and in diagnosing and treatment of functional urology diseases including: Neurogenic Bladder, Overactive Bladder "OAB", and Urinary incontinence.
The urology department is teaching center which is approved for urology residency by both Arab health association and Jordan board.
