Cardiac Rehabilitation is one of the modern disciplines in medicine its scope is to try to face the inability of patient's daily living when exposed to heart attack or failure of the heart muscle.
The rehabilitation program includes different stages and sessions:
Phase1:
During hospitalization of the patient after a heart attack or heart failure, where the patient is interviewed by the rehabilitation team and talk about the rehabilitation by giving some tips and explanations.
Phase 2:
After discharge from the hospital, rehabilitation sessions begin with a team of specialized doctors, nutritionists, pharmacists, social workers, a physiatrist (doctor of physiotherapy and rehabilitation) and a trained nursing team to give sessions for quitting smoking and exercise.
After the completion of rehabilitation sessions, Where the patient is expected to be able to adhere to the program of nutrition, exercise,quiet smoking, control blood pressure, diabetes and fats, where the doctor assess the patient's health status and then develop a health plan to improve the health level of the patient in cooperation with the family, So the patient will be able to take care of himself in healthy way after the completion of all sessions.
