Diabetes and ophthalmology

Pterygium disease
It’s a dermal disease, which is an excess of conjunctiva in the inner part of the eye and may lead to a change in refraction of the eye and redness. Thetreatment is done by surgical intervention and the removal of the excess part.
Nyctalopia
Nyctalopia is caused by retinitis, a multi-pathogenic genetic disease, due to the lack of light receptors, as the field of vision recedes slightly and in some advanced cases there is Atrophy in the optic nerve and opacity in the lens of the eye.
Hypertension and its relation to the eyes
In most cases the case of high bloodcause of high blood pressure is atherosclerosis, arteries that feed the retina is no exception, this may cause the accumulation of fluid in the center of sight and can also cause retinal bleeding these cases are usually treated by laser.
Eye sensitivity and seasonal diseases
The eye's internal inflammation caused by a microbial or inflammations thatcannot be avoided.The sensitivity and viral infections of the eye occurs as the atmosphere changes and the temperature changes rapidly, especially with air and dust.
Spring conjunctivitis
It’s one of the types of allergies that affect the conjunctiva of the eye and this conjunctiva is known to occur in the spring with the spread of pollen that cause this type of allergies, it is not contagious, the symptoms include severe itching with the release of water secretions. The treatment is to place cool compresses and keep away from allergies such as dust pollens.
Dry Eye Syndrome
Dry eye is caused by the excessive use of air conditions, mobiles and screens, and the high temperature of the air in the dry and desert areas cause eye dryness. The patient is advised to use the moisterizing eyedrops that help moisturize the eye, especially droplets that are free of preservatives.
